First meeting of the RRSC took place at NAIC National Summer 2021 Meeting, and provided for live in person participation as well as virtual participation.
Mr. Behlendorf introduced the Linux Foundation and review the Antitrust Policy Notice
Ms. Westcott, thanked the audience and the openIDL members who have been participating
Ms. Westcott provided an overview of the openIDL project
Ms. Westcott gave an overview of the Regulatory Reporting Steering Committee goals and its charter
Ms. Westcott provide a high level overview of the openIDL platform
Ms. Westcott shared some of the findings of the openIDL pilot with the release of its Proof of Concept (POC) Report by AAIS on Aug 16th 2021. Report was shared with attendees and will be made public on Aug 17th by AAIS.
Ms. Westcott, went through the openIDL membership model and invited attendees to join as members. Details were shared https://openidl.org/join/
Ms. Westcott opened the floor for questions and discussion.
Ms. Westcott, reviewed how to get involved, starting with subscribing to the RRSC mailing list (open to all) and letting her know if you are interested in joining as a member of the RRSC. The goal is to have appointed members presented to the openIDL Governing Board at the next board meeting {Date} for approval.
