The openIDL Regulatory Reporting Steering Committee (RRSC) reports to the Governing Board and consists of not more than 10 elected members from the Regulatory and Carrier communities.
Charter:
- Evolve the openIDL network for the next generation of regulatory reporting to
replace current statistical data reporting and independent data call activities - Adopt open-source data standards for regulatory data reporting; and
- Test the openIDL with additional POCs to provide greater understanding around
how to expand the openIDL network around regulatory reporting needs.
Participation in the Regulatory Reporting Steering Committee per the Project Charter:
RRSC meetings are open to the general public and basic attendance and participation are extended to everyone on a non-discriminatory basis, in accordance with applicable laws. They can be conducted electronically via teleconference or in person, and guided by the LF antitrust policy.
While the Project aims to operate as a consensus-based community, if any RRSC decision requires a vote to move the Project forward, the voting members of the RRSC will vote on a one-vote per voting member basis.
Quorum for the RRSC meetings requires at least fifty percent of all voting members of the RRSC to be present. The RRSC may continue to meet if quorum is not met but will be prevented from making any decisions at the meeting. Decisions made without a meeting require a majority vote of all voting members of the RR-SC
